  • ¼ tsp ground nutmeg

  • 1 cup apple cider
  • ½ cup applesauce or apple butter
  • ½ cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • ¼ cup canola or vegetable oil
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • ⅓ cup light brown sugar (packed)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter (melted) for topping
  • ⅓ cup granulated sugar for topping
  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and position a rack in the middle.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, combine apple cider and applesauce or apple butter.
  4. In a stand mixer, cream softened butter with granulated and brown sugars until light and fluffy.
  5. Add eggs one at a time along with vanilla extract, mixing until combined.
  6. Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture in alternating batches with the apple cider mixture.
  7. Grease a bundt pan well and pour the batter evenly into it.
  8. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  9. Cool on a wire rack before removing from the pan.
