  • 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • ½ cup chopped walnuts (optional)
  • ⅓ cup granulated sugar + 2 tsp ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease your Bundt pan well.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together unsalted butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well before adding vanilla extract.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and baking powder. Gradually add this mixture and sour cream to the butter mixture, alternating between the two.
  4. Pour half of the batter into the prepared pan. Sprinkle with half of the cinnamon-sugar mixture and optional walnuts; top with remaining batter and sprinkle with remaining cinnamon-sugar.
  5. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before inverting onto a cooling rack.
