  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 envelope taco seasoning mix
  • 2 8 oz cans Pillsbury crescent rolls
  • 1 16 oz can refried beans
  • 23 cups shredded cheddar cheese or Mexican blend
  • ½ cup chopped tomatoes
  • ¼ cup sliced black olives
  • 4 chopped green onions

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium-high heat, brown 1 lb ground beef until fully cooked; drain excess fat.
  3. Add taco seasoning and ½-2/3 cup water to the meat; simmer until most liquid evaporates.
  4. Unroll crescent rolls into rectangles and press into an 11.5×16.5 inch jelly roll pan.
  5. Bake crust for 11-13 minutes or until golden brown.
  6. Microwave 1 can refried beans for 1 minute; spread over baked crust.
  7. Spoon seasoned ground beef over the beans.
  8. Sprinkle 2-3 cups shredded cheese on top.
  9. Add chopped tomatoes, black olives, and green onions.
  10. Bake for an additional 3-6 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  11. Let cool briefly before slicing into squares.
