  • 3/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 3/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon fine sea salt

Instructions

  1. In a large saucepan, combine milk, heavy cream, sugar, and cocoa powder over medium heat. Heat until simmering, then remove from heat.
  2. Add semi-sweet chocolate chips to a blender. Pour the hot milk mixture over it and let sit for a few minutes. Then add vanilla extract and salt before blending until smooth.
  3. Pour the mixture into ice pop molds and freeze for about 30 minutes. Insert sticks once partially set, then freeze overnight until fully solid.
  4. To remove popsicles from molds, run warm water over the outsides briefly before serving.
