  • 3 cups quick oats
  • 3/4 cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • 2 ounces cream cheese (full-fat, brick style)
  • 34 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon cream (if needed)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream together softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Mix in molasses and vanilla extract, then add eggs one at a time until well blended.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together flour, cinnamon, baking soda, and salt. Gradually combine with wet ingredients without overmixing.
  5. Fold in quick oats evenly into the dough.
