Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 sheets ready roll puff pastry (vegan & gluten-free)
  • 6 tablespoons vegan Nutella
  • 2 medium bananas
  • 3 tablespoons dairy-free milk (for egg wash)
  • 2 tablespoons caster/granulated sugar
  • Dairy-free white chocolate buttons (for decoration)
  • 2 tablespoons icing sugar (for dusting)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out puff pastry sheets on a floured surface for easier handling.
  3. Slice bananas into thin rounds and mix with vegan Nutella in a bowl.
  4. Cut rectangles from the pastry sheets and place a spoonful of the filling on one side of each rectangle. Fold over and seal edges with a fork.
  5. Cut thin strips from leftover pastry to create mummy 'bandages' and lay them across each pie.
  6. Brush with dairy-free milk for a shiny finish.
  7. Bake on parchment-lined baking sheets for about 20 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Once cooled, drizzle melted dairy-free white chocolate as eyes and sprinkle with icing sugar.
