  • 45 Bone-In Chicken Thighs
  • 2 tsp Onion Powder
  • 2 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Smoked Paprika
  • 1 tsp Fresh Thyme
  • 2 tbsps Fresh Rosemary, chopped
  • 1 Red Onion, sliced
  • 12 Honeycrisp Apples, sliced
  • 4 tbsps Salted Butter
  • 3/4 cup Apple Cider
  • 1/2 cup Chicken Broth
  • 2 tbsps Dijon Mustard
  • 3 cloves Garlic
  • Olive oil
  • Salt & Pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Season chicken thighs with onion powder, garlic powder, smoked paprika, thyme, salt, pepper, and chopped rosemary.
  3. In an oven-safe skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat and sear the chicken thighs skin-side down until golden brown.
  4. Add sliced red onion and Honeycrisp apples around the chicken.
  5. Transfer the skillet to the oven and roast for 20-25 minutes until chicken reaches 165°F (74°C).
  6. For the sauce, combine butter, apple cider, chicken broth, Dijon mustard, and minced garlic in the same skillet over medium heat until thickened.
  7. Return chicken and apples to the pan, spooning sauce over them before serving.
